Kathy Belcher

Kathy Belcher

Although Kathy Belcher paints commission work of all breeds of horses, she primarily does Appaloosas. She also paints some Native American art. Kathy works in acrylics and uses a dry and wet method to get her desired results. Kathy says she's been horse crazy all of her life. She’s done work for the Blue Grass Buckskin Association and has donated several paintings for fundraisers. In the past, Appaloosa Journal has used her sketches to illustrate articles. More recently, she’s branched out to paint on metal, horse trailers and vehicles.
