Carol Herren Foerster

Carol primarily does graphite drawings of realistic images. She considers herself a portrait artist, rendering either animals or people. Carol says she’s loved horses from an early age and used to draw them all of the time. She had her own horse that she basically trained herself. Carol lost touch with the horse world while raising her family. She got involved again when her three nieces started liking horses. She says she’s inspired by the relationships between people and horses.
