Janene Grende

Born and raised in Lewiston, Idaho, Janene Grende moved north to Sandpoint, Idaho, in 1974. She’s painted for more than 30 years. She paints in gouache, a medium using watercolor-type pigments that are opaque. Janene also uses dyes on silk to create vivid paintings of horses, equestrians, cowgirls and wildlife. Janene creates art for Leanin’ Tree Cards and the Bradford Exchange. Her work, “Good Morning Sunshine,” is displayed at the Buffalo Jump Gallery in Stevensville, Montana.
