Carl Miles knew how to promote a stallion. Joker B. was his first success in the Appaloosa breeding business, and Carl followed Joker B.s astonishing career with red roan stallion Prince Plaudit.

Carl, who lived in Abilene, Texas, started nationally promoting Prince Plaudit in front of the horse public. According to a September 1971 Appaloosa News article, Carl Miles and the Super Horse, the stallion was grand champion at the Fort Worth, San Antonio and Southeastern stock shows with trainer Harry Reed of Abilene, Texas.
